  16. C)omment to Sysop.................Will allow you to enter a message to 
  17.                                   the sysop. This message will be marked 
  18.                                   as Private, with a subject of "User 
  19.                                   Comment" automatically. Using this menu 
  20.                                   item is easier if you just want to make 
  21.                                   a quick comment to the sysop.
  22. E)nter a new message..............Selecting this menu command will allow 
  23.                                   you to leave a new message to someone 
  24.                                   on the system. You will be asked who it 
  25.                                   is to, what the subject is, and if it 
  26.                                   is a Private message. Once you have 
  27.                                   confirmed that the system has the 
  28.                                   correct information, the screen will 
  29.                                   clear so that you can enter the text of 
  30.                                   the message. Using <Enter> when on a 
  31.                                   blank line will stop the editor ans ask 
  32.                                   if you want to send the message.
  33. R)ead messages....................Selecting this command will prompt you
  34.                                   to enter a message number to start the 
  35.                                   message reading sequence from. Choosing 
  36.                                   enter will take you back to the first 
  37.                                   public message that you are eligible to 
  38.                                   read, and from thereon take you message 
  39.                                   by message thru the mail.
  40. N)ew Mail.........................If you were notified that you had New 
  41.                                   Mail waiting when you logged on, you 
  42.                                   can use this menu command to read that 
  43.                                   new mail.
  44. M)essage Search...................Will present you with another prompt that 
  45.                                   allows you to search through all messages 
  46.                                   for a specific addressee, sender or subject.

  53. T)ransfer Protocol................Selecting this command will bring up the 
  54.                                   transfer protocol menu, from which you may 
  55.                                   select a default file transfer protocol. 
  56.                                   When you first log on to the system, your 
  57.                                   default is set to none, and the system 
  58.                                   will prompt you on each file transfer for 
  59.                                   the protocol to use. If you have selected 
  60.                                   a default, and decide that you would 
  61.                                   rather be prompted each time, pressing 
  62.                                   <Enter> at Protocol prompt will set your 
  63.                                   default back to none.
  64. F)iles List.......................Will prompt you with another line 
  65.                                   requesting your specifications.  
  66.                                   Wildcards are O.K. to use here, and 
  67.                                   depending on your access level, you will 
  68.                                   be able to see all files available for 
  69.                                   you to download.
  70. D)ownload files...................Will prompt you for the files you wish to 
  71.                                   download, including extensions, as well as 
  72.                                   the transfer protocol you wish to use.  
  73.                                   ZMODEM is usually best if you have it.   
  74. U)pload files.....................Will prompt you for the name of your file 
  75.                                   to upload, including extension, as well 
  76.                                   as the transfer protocol you wish to use.

  78. B)ulletin Listings................Will present you with all the system news 
  79.                                   files and bulletins in date order [newest 
  80.                                   bulletin first].  These are the same 
  81.                                   bulletins and news that you had the 
  82.                                   opportunity to see when you first logged 
  83.                                   onto the system.  It's a good idea to 
  84.                                   periodically check these bulletins for 
  85.                                   details of late breaking news and other 
  86.                                   information.

  93. H)elp with commands...............Presents you with this information.
  94. W)rite/change your info...........This selection will prompt you for any 
  95.                                   changes you wish to make to your system 
  96.                                   settings including your password, ANSI 
  97.                                   settings, address and telephone numbers.
  98. V)iew your settings...............Will give you the time you came on-line, 
  99.                                   and the other settings that affect your 
  100.                                   usage.
  101. P)age the Sysop...................Page the sysop, and request a livechat
  102.                                   online with him.  Note that it may take
  103.                                   up to 30 seconds or so to find out if 
  104.                                   the sysop is available.  If he is not, 
  105.                                   you will get a message to the effect, 
  106.                                   and can contiue by leaving a message 
  107.                                   for him, or returning to the main menu. 
  108. G)oodbye..........................To log off the system.

  121. O)pen Mail Manager................This menu command will call up the mail 
  122.                                   manager portion of the utilities 
  123.                                   script, and allow you to search the 
  124.                                   message base, delete old messages, and 
  125.                                   pack the message base. (available only 
  126.                                   during local log ins.)
  127. A)bort GHOST BBS..................Allows you to shut down the BBS facility,
  128.                                   and switch to regular 
  129.                                   telecommunications functions.

  151. All users for their first time logging onto the board will have a limited 
  152. access level, allowing you only to do a few of the above functions.  Once 
  153. your registration information has been confirmed and verified, we will 
  154. automatically increase your access level to normal user, usually, within 
  155. two days. You will notice the change in the log on message, telling you 
  156. that your user status is no longer * New User * or * Limited User *, but
  157. * Validated User *. This will give you standard level access, permitting 
  158. downloading, uploading etc....  There is also an Advanced User Access level 
  159. permitting nearly unlimited access to areas of the BBS.  Only the sysop(s), 
  160. current staff, or associates will be given this access level.
